Violin

Francesco started studying music at a very early age with his father, a musician.
After graduating from the Conservatory of Venice under the guidance of Prof. Giulio Bonzagni he moved to Germany, where in 2001 he received the academic title of "Konzertdiplom" with honours from the Musikhochschule in Hamburg under Prof. Andreas Röhn (Concertmaster violin at the Bayerische Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester).
He continues his artistic development as a violinist at the Academy of Chioggia (Venice) under the guidance of Maestro Dejan Bogdanovich.
In Italy, in the final exam of the three-year course in chamber music held by
Maestro Piernarciso Masi at the Piano Academy of Imola, Francesco performed a duo with pianist Pierluigi Piran and received the highest possible marks with distinction. This was followed by an intense touring schedule with numerous performances of complete sonatas for violin and piano by Beethoven, Brahms and Dallapiccola.
He also plays as a SOLOIST with: Solisti Veneti di Claudio Scimone, Interpreti Veneziani, the Veneto Philharmonic, the Hamburger Synphoniker, Camerata Strumentale Italiana (Trieste), the Ferruccio Busoni Chamber Orchestra (Trieste), the Orchestre du Festival de la Printemps di Saint-Dizier (FRANCE)
In CHAMBER MUSIC he works with international musicians such as Pavel Vernikov, Vladimir Mendelssohn, Sonig Tchakerjan, Danilo Rossi, Dejan Bogdanovic, Emanuelle Bertrand, Pierre-Henry Xuereb, Pierre Fabrice, Patrick Gallois, Andrea Lucchesini, Adriano del Sal, Rossana Calvi and Alessio Allegrini.
In the orchestral field he works as Concertmaster with: the Orchestra of the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, the Orchestra of Padua and Veneto, the Veneto Philharmonic, the Marche Philharmonic Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Camerata Strumentale di Prato, the Human Rights Orchestra, the Orchestre du Festival de La Printemps - Saint Dizier FRANCE, and always as Co.Leader and Principal of Second Violins with: the Orchestra of La Fenice in Venice and the Orchestra of the Arena di Verona.
Since 2007 he has often collaborated with: the Orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra and the National Orchestra of RAI in Turin, playing under the direction of conductors such as S. Bichkov, M. W. Chung, D. Barenboim, D. Gatti, R. Chailly, E. Krivine, R. Muti, Y. Temirkanov and D. Harding.
He has made audio and video recordings for RAI, Dynamic Rai Trade, Brilliant Classics, Telecapodistria, TDK, Velut Luna, Newport Studios, Hardly Classic, Arthaus Musik and Fabula Classica.

He is a professor of violin at the "Jacopo Tomadini" in Udine.

Since 2003 he has been a part of the First Violins of the "I Solisti Veneti" of Claudio Scimone, playing also as a soloist in more than forty countries and in the most prestigious halls (Wiener Muiskverein, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, Salle Gaveau in Paris, Tokyo Suntory Hall, Tokyo Opera Hall, the Philharmonie in Berlin, Gulbekian Musichall in Lisbon, Center of Performing Arts, National Theather of Beijing, Tel Aviv et Jerusalem Theater, Teatro Teresa Carreno and Sala Simon Bolivar in Caracas, etc.) and at the most important festivals of the world.

He plays a Don Nicola Amati 18th century violin.
